Applying to any and all companies through the first few years of my university life, I realised the importance of knowing what role I applied for in which company, what were the requirements, what was the procedure, who was my network within the firm, what were the job requirements. The number of times I had messed up with the HR (because I couldn't keep up with all this information) was seriously embarrassing.

For my penultimate year, I decided to devise a system of finally keeping on track with all my applications. This was the year that really mattered and I couldn't let go of any chance of getting that oh so famous PPO.

I created a job tracker. This was a system that helped me keep on top of all the important information and on just a glance, could tell me what was the next step to be done for which application. It helped me keep up with the zillion deadlines for online recorded interviews, assessment centres, HR interviews and what not.
